may be confusing at the beginning, i just picked a job lot of 4 equipped cases on ebay once and got the hang of it, ordered some spare inserts from the net.

I use the Raaco CarryLite boxes for all my small components. Very expensive, but occasionally I find them for sale at a good price. They've been around for decades, so some chance that additional boxes and inserts will be available in the future.
 
tesco bag... screws. aldi bag.... rawlplugs, lidl bag...cable clips. asda bag.... rest of crap i need handy.
