image.jpgThe battery doesn't seem to kick in , the call points don't set off alarm , using the key, the only button that works is reset and evacuate.. And you have to pull fuse to stop alarm..

I wish you Luck Darkwood, if you get stuck, I think I have latest software if you need a copy.

Well this went well, got an Engineer out to program it and he noticed it was a upgraded version from his last one, the comms between PSU and FP refused to work correctly, we had fault light unexplained and after talking to tech' it seems a motherboard fault on the PSU or FP either that or the new upgraded software doesn't work....

F-all connected to the panel except power and was throwing up output faults on Aux relays etc ...very strange so my first impression is WHAT A PILE OF ****!

In software....set Aux monitor to off setting. This will sort out the psu problem. Very common fault on this panel.

That's the 2nd time I've heard someone say that, should it not be the bees knees??

Here is a third...Plastic, very basic panel....Haes & Kentec are metal panels with many program functions such as non latched zones, delayed outputs, non locking relays, zoned relays. etc.
Very useful in shopping centers, and linked panels.

It wont accept comm's from PSU and thus is always in fault, apparently the previous version didn't require comm's link but this does now so new panel on its way ...not impressed though, I'd expect better for what it cost my client... but I didnt supply so thats how it goes sometimes.

Yes well known fault, with version software....aux monitor will turn it off, but as you say let them send another panel. I sorry to say there will be more to follow, such as detector moving position when panel is reconfig, random faults.....
