yes I have commenced an EICR today and going through the 4flats ad found some issues that I have been asked to address as I go. only seen the basement today as couldn't access it on my initial visit, hence my concerns and sound advice needed
 
I'd be cautious just in case the previous guy bailed because of non payment.

Maybe just do the EICR and issue an invoice.
See how it goes from there.
 
I have been paid for today on the job, and I have done a different job for the contractor ordering the work and paid for that also, so im not worried on that front, in any case they wont get any paperwork until im fully paid
 
The sparks haven't followed recommended colours for multi core cables, ie where multicores are used, new colours

Grey Neutral
Black Cpc

No right or wrong way, as long as the cores are identified at all terminations and the GY or bare copper CPC isnt used for anything other than earth or CPC
