Changed a C/U today, when i took cover off found live = blue, neutral = red, with cable ties marked L & N in correct position. This was the same at meter so it must have been the meter guy! The meter had a test date of 2006, outside meter box probably fitted about same time. PME must have been done at same time. Notice the connector on earth, 16mm from meter box, then 4mm! Also notice the snipped out cores on 25mm tails.

An inch away from reverse polarity IMO , which is a sackable offence for the meter fitters.
Usually they dont need to touch the CU when changing the meter , just reconnect tails as is.
But rough yeah.

Not a link mate, just my favourite song to play. Look it up on youtube...you might even come across me on there...

Fair play that was mesmerizing, almost went into a trance watching! The first person to come up playing was Jim Greeninger. I would love to see some of your work (you may be Jim!). If you don't want to put it on the forum could yo PM me.

You'll have to PM me a link to some of your stuff mate. I'm getting a bit sick of Peo Kindgren and Christopher Parkening, never get sick of Segovia though

Hi Trev, i would PM Guitarist to get response. I don't think he wants to blow his own trumpet (that sounds wrong for a guitarist!). Just heard some of his stuff and it's goooooooodddddd!

Maybe we could have an Electricians Got Talent thread in Chit Chat.
Who would be the judges though? :)
