if you look at the other 2 way switch that uou've not touched??? see how the cable/s is/are connected. then the other end of the cable/s should match up the same.

There isn't another 2 way I didn't touch oh the picture artistically drew is the new switches the old white I took off the wall and that is where the link is I just can't understand why the link would go from com to 3 so I'm working the 2gang as 2 separate switches which if I'm right it should work yes?

Regarding your new drawing....No.... Without getting too close to a "step by step" instructions which is frowned upon....

Ignore the 2ways. you don't need them.

Can you remember how the lights were connected? If it was 3plate, or loop in... there seems to be an extra red at the single switch.?

The commons will need the perm live into them.... the switch wires coming out of the one ways...
You could possibly work out the single gang switch no problem.

I think its been mentioned before, but all you have here is lives and switched lives... there's no neutral that could cause a short circuit... so might be a case of trial and error until you get the right configuration. (assuming the lights have been reconnected properly)

Another thought here.... Are all the lights on the same circuit? or have you maybe got 2 feeds into one switch box, which could be dangerous if the 2 circuits become interconnected

Done it thank ---- lol

and this works the way you want it to?

Im worried where the reds into 2way are going

Also, you need to link the metal faceplates to the back boxes with a little green/yellow to earth them.
It works just as before both hall switches independently on and off and bathroom on the other switch in the 2 gang working also the switch plates already have the earth in there should of shown that really

Also the 2 reds are the link in COM as they are the perm live all lights in the flat work and I haven't electrocuted myself so win win haha I've only got 2 switches to change now and they are simple that one just threw me off

Bit of a rough drawing but this is how it should be wired, ensure all the wires are identified as live using red tape and the single hallway switch should have the com terminal going directly to the light. The 1 way wire should terminate on the second single switch to that 1 way wire - the same for the 2 way terminal as in the drawing.
The com terminals in the double switch should link Together and the permanent live also terminates into one of these.
As mentioned, ensure the switches are earthed to the back box which should be earthed already and that this wire is identified with green and yellow sleeve or tape

Yeah this is what I've done just couldn't understand that link it was in the wrong place all together but it's all neat and tidy and now marked with the correct tape and the earths were fine didnt need to touch them
