Hi
Can anyone clear up or explain in a bit more detail what could potentially be causing the results I have. I have just tested a 32a ring main wired in 2.5mm twin on B32 Rcbo. There are 8 sockets on the ring and all are in plastic dado trunking in 2 offices. The readings I have are:
L-L= 0.76
N-N= 0.76
E-E= 1.32
R1/R2= 0.89
Zs= 0.78
Board ZS= 0.22
My R1/R2 are slightly high as should be roughly 0.52 so could that be trapped insulation in terminal instead of touching copper?
Also my zs was low at 0.78 when should be around 1.11. It can’t be parallel earth paths as everything is in plastic dado trunking.
Any help would be much appreciated in helping me further with my testing which needs brushing up more on.
