Not that I've ever used one, but I have been known to mess around with torque wrench's and cylinder heads in my younger days!

Torque wrenches do need calibrating because going to tight with an aluminium head after a gasket change can result in expensive mistakes.

I guess this could be the same for electrical torque screwdrivers which could cause fatal mistakes?

Just thinking out loud after I saw some chap using one recently!
 
You mean these sort of drivers


I would suggest those using them for consumer units / other electrical connections the last thing they worry about is the calibration of their drill
