Discuss I think I deserve to give myself a pat on the back. Yes? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Well done OP, never done a full rewire and wouldn't take one on at the moment. I have found that building a good relation with the client is key to any lived in job. The client will usually make you more tea than you can ever drink, and when you ask for their dust pan and brush will insist that they will clear up. I now carry a d&b in my toolkit - haven't got round to a hoover yet but thinking about it!

Oh, and I make a point of picking up all bits of insulation, especially the green and yellow, as I've heard so many pub conversations about sparkies leaving all that behing on the clients carpet.
