Evening..

Just pricing up for a full rewire of a 3 storey fulley wooden building, just wondering if there are any special considerations to adhere to?

I have seen the fire putty and intrumescent sleeves for the back of sockets, but wondering if these are required or just recommended.

Cheers

Fire is the risk, obviously. You might find that AFDD become mandatory for cases like this soon, but it is currently just speculation about amendment 2 changes.

Depends if you are worried about being beaten on cost, or are looking to win on best overall proposal to an educated customer. Then aspects like the 300mA delay RCD incomer as used for agriculture, or AFDD on socket outlets, might be options to offer.

Obviously some hard-wired smoke alarm system but I don't know enough about fire regs to know what would be needed. In Scotland there is now a building regs requirement for interlinked alarm, in any new build that ought to be wired than wireless, so that is my though on minimum spec.
