Not clicked on the cert but you need to fill out a Electrical Instllation Cert for a new circuit. You will need to speak to Napit as you may need to be registered to use certain Certs. NIC EIC have Certs of a different colour for non registered contractors

As with any scheme provider, they will not like non members using there logo or forms.

As stated before if you use a NAPIT cert without being registered with them or without their permission I imagine they could prosecute.

Back to the OP and other valued contributors and Napit members - regarding the "Napit" condensed EIC - why isn't this the standard form from the IET?

The format shown in Appendix 6 of BS7671 is "informative" so there is no reason why you cannot devise your own such as NAPITs condensed EIC as long as it is clear and contains the necessary information.

I think these are a good idea if all above board with regulations ,2 pages for a single new circuit seems much more ideal would you not say?

Out of interest, how do Napit justify omitting the pages of tick boxes, which makes doing EIC's as tedious as EICR's?

I wondered this but I think it should be a shorter cert as standard to add a circuit to an exsisting installation

If you can alter a circuit and add to it in a MWC you should Be able to add a single circuit on the cert were discussing as it has enough information on it and if all tests all ok
