Interview on monday

I have an interview with Welsh Water for an electrical apprentice role and need some advice! what questions will they ask ect? I have had no experience in electrics apart from in college (a level electronics, and i also have a hnc in building services). I have basic knowledge and that is all! really stressed out and in need of some advice!!!

your being taken on as apprentice, so just turn up keen and ask loads of questions if you dont know...good luck

well the most imprortant principle in the water industry is this: keep the water out of the equipment!

they might ask if youve got any experience with your hands,whether your good at problem solving, if your good at maths, whatb you enjoy doing, what made you choose them fior an apprenticeship.

do your research on the company. even if this means ringing their head office up, and asking the person on the end of the phone. this will show willing, and a liilte bit of ingenuity.

turn up well dressed, suited and booted. Dont swear and say things like innit ect. dont look down, but maintain eye contact. dont be afraid to ask them to repeat themselves, if you dont hear them properley, or dont understand what theyre asking.

Most of all, relax and dont lie.

You have an HNC in Building Services, if that HNC is an approved CIBS course, then it should contain, more than just a basic knowledge of building electrics!!

Yes, last time I looked there were sections on electrical installations & lighting design.
