Hello All

I hope this isn't a stupid question.

I have an existing outside pir security light that the stupid, ahem "electrician" (i.e. me) installed 1M above the boiler outlet so obviously the boiler triggers the pir. I'd like to be able to extend the cable and my question apart from it maybe looking a little ugly on the wall, could I put one of these inline or should I remove the entire cable and put a new longer one in?

Obviously the circuit is protected by an RCD cough ....... (Actually it will be soon as I'm getting the CU upgraded which is something I would definitely not tackle myself)
