Hi there,

Does anyone know where I can find a good guide book for understanding electrical ladder, circuit and schematic diagrams, especially for control circuits? I'm finding a good guide impossible to find. The ones that I have found which have a good sounding title appear to be out of print.

I'm working on manufacturing machinery and I'm wanting to understand the electrical diagrams in order to navigate the wiring and components in control panels and ideally fault find eventually.

I'm primarily a mechanical engineer, but I've done the 17th edition and the city and guilds 2392 qualification and some of the 2391 course as part of my journey to become a little more multi-skilled, but as you probably know none of that covers much in the way of 24v control circuits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Chris

Thanks Alarm Man. That looks a good book, but unfortunately it's discontinued at RS and I can't seem to locate one through Google. All the books that look good seem to be out of print. I'll keep looking for this one, or others.
