I am currently having issues with my Alexa service on a sonos play one
Every time I try to start session by calling her name ,I get an immediate response with a
Sorry I am having trouble understanding you right now
I have tried disabling the skill and re-enabling ,but no change
any ideas Folks

Not meant to be an ignorant question, but how broad is your Irish accent? I speak with a west country accent and Alexa has difficulty understanding that.
 
I just couldn't resist!! Really sorry if it causes any offence, it's not like me, but i did find it funny. Any woman reading this (SC?) please put me in my place! Also, sorry to the OP for replying with unhelpful comments.
 
There was a lot sold over Christmas

The Amazon cloud network isn't fit to keep up with all the new devices. The sister got one for Christmas, it's going back on Monday

Mines perfect, thank you very much. You just need some patients.

I normally threaten her with some Pink Floyd if she goes wibble, and she responds beautifully.
