I am currently having issues with my Alexa service on a sonos play one
Every time I try to start session by calling her name ,I get an immediate response with a
Sorry I am having trouble understanding you right now
I have tried disabling the skill and re-enabling ,but no change
any ideas Folks

Not meant to be an ignorant question, but how broad is your Irish accent? I speak with a west country accent and Alexa has difficulty understanding that.

Only used Echos so no help but if you have the opposite problem she does understand STFU (long hand ) very well,

It worked fine for at least a year
Only started replying with the quote in the OP in the last two days

There was a lot sold over Christmas

The Amazon cloud network isn't fit to keep up with all the new devices. The sister got one for Christmas, it's going back on Monday

Mines perfect, thank you very much. You just need some patients.

I normally threaten her with some Pink Floyd if she goes wibble, and she responds beautifully.

The mic is switched on and when The speaker hears the name Alexa, it automatically responds with the words
