Discuss Led driver and Mr11 LEDs lamps in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Customer wants to change to led lamps, they have about 80 throughout the house so don't fancy making bigger each hole bigger to fit a gu10 fitting!

By the time you have paid for a decent branded led lamp and driver, you will be at the price of a decent GU10 option including the extra time faffing about with holes, or even a small sealed unit led fitting.
If you don't go for top dollar MR11, you will be dealing with the mass market stuff with their "acceptable" 5% failure rates, which over 80 fittings I wouldn't want to even imagine the messing about.
