Hi,

I wonder if any expert can help as I recently renovated my property and changed the light switch to new one.

I've been trying to get the wiring right but it fail so it would be great if expert can provide some light. Your help is much appreciated Thank you

Following is the old setting and new.

Old:
Downstairs = 2 single gang switch (1 control downstairs and 1 for upstairs)

Upstairs = 1 single gang control upstairs

The tricky one for me is the upstair because I would like to swith the light on/off on both upstairs and downstairs. (it work in the old settings)

New:
Downstairs = now 3 gang (I don't have 2 gang and have 3 so I put 3 gang) middle switch is an empty slot.

Upstairs it's the same as old setting. (single gang)

Attached a picture of the current setting and it work like following:
Downstairs:
S1: on (both up and down on)
Off (both up and down off)
S2: empty
S3: on (up on)
Off (up off)

Upstairs:
On: up on
Off: up off

What I trying to achieve is the downstairs setting like
S1: on (only downstairs on)
Off (only downstairs off)
S3: on (only upstairs on)
Off (only upstairs off)

Upstairs working as usual on and off.

Thank you very much for reading my post.
