Hi Folks first post on here so I hope someone can help.
So I purchase a briquette press from Latvia on Ebay for a few £K.
Yea, yea, I know right.
Despite this the press works well for a day and a half then with me stood in front of the press watching it the main MCB to the entire bungalow trips.
I've changed the extension lead and the adapter (it come with a EU plug)
I've tried different rings (from the same distribution board) but the trip goes all the time.
So I'm on to the seller who puts me on to the manufacturer who tells me I basically need to test my system by plugging the press into the neighbors to see what happens.
Now is it just me or does anyone else find that a stupid idea or is it a good idea. To my mind I have no idea what damage that could do to the neighbors property.
Basically do you think it's a reasonable request to make of my neighbors?
Thanks
G.
