So if you can't see what you out for main fuse? Not applicable ?

How do you know that you can't see what the fuse is if you haven't even looked at the cutout? If it's clearly labelled on the cutout then the net person to look at your EIC is quite possibly going to dismiss you as a cowboy.
The regulations are pretty clear, you get the information either by enquiry or by looking at it.
Unfortunately this does fall apart a bit when the DNO haven't got a clue, but at least you can honestly record this on the EIC than just not bothering to start with.
Plus as a mentioned earlier there is more to it than just the fuse size. What if there is a nice 16mm earthing conductor at the CU which then just connects to an old 3 strand bare conductor via a floating connector block at the head?
