New member here, I'm not an electrician at the moment but I start a Level 1 diploma in Electrical Installations next month at college so thought I would sign up to read/gain knowledge.

My dad also runs an electrical firm so that is one of my main reasons for training.

Anyhow long journey ahead but I look forward to learning!

sounds like you're off to a good start. work with your dad to get practical experience.
