Had to help a a colleague who has all the qualifications but no clue to anything. Lol
I've recently completed my level 2&3 and 18th Editon.
Doing a EICR, Two ring finals with no Earth continuity, found the break on the CPC the downstairs ring, the other is a 32A ring final just for a Boiler ?????? We cant find the break on r2.
Is it possible to downsize the MCB to a 20A and change it to a Radial,
That's what i suggested and he said no, wants to smash up the customers house to rectify the break.... confused.com

Single point on a rfc? Shouldn’t be to hard to determine which leg is faulty.....

But we have coninuity on CPC to the boiler but no return, so surely that's good enough. HENCE A RADIAL. please don't be mean to me people... Haha

if you mean to diss. the faulty leg and make the good leg a 16A radial, no problem as long as the faulty leg is isolated from supply.

or even a 20A radial as long as cable installation method allows.and why anyone would wanttorun a rfc to feed just a boiler iscrazy, unless they have shares in prysmian.
