I have been trying to log on to the My Conractor page on the NICEIC website and all I get is a page saying "page not found" also when trying to log on to notify some jobs I get a message saying "server does not exist or access denied". has anyone else had this problem? or is it a problem with my computer?

Welcome to the forum. Just read your post and tried myself. Same result.
Try again tomoz, probably a temporary problem.

I have the same/additional problem too. My 25 day notification period will have expired by the time they come back in(on tuesday so I was told by their phone contact message).

What's the form then? I can't change the date on the cert. Anyone had this bother before?

Give them a call and explain the situation. They should be able to come up with a solution. It's a service that you are paying for after all and no doubt there are more in the same situation. Who's fault is it ?
Thinking about it, THEY should explain the situation. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

just change notifacation date, if there was ever a prob the cert and the work would be more important than the to dates not matching your only human people do forget and in fairness its not your fault sites down make a note on cert dates etc just to prove your case if worst happened .wouldn't loose much sleep over it!

If only the NIC spent as much effort on ensuring the contractors part of their website is working as they do robbing all your money! I assume the rest of their website is working fine?

Tin hat on :D

Thanks guys. I'll do just that.

I might ask them for something in writing to confirm that their service was down at the time too. Wonder if they'll be willing?
