Hi I have just had an earth put into my property can anyone advise what type of arrangement it is? Many thanks

Aye that's right. Northern powergrid have been doing heads this way round here for a couple of years now.
If you've got TN-S, why add? I'd like to know what's gone on with the earthing system as a whole. Why 'neutral' the incoming cable sheath?
 
Perhaps Dave its not two earthing systems,it may be Tnc-s with the sheath of the original Tns now only acting as a exposed conductive part
In my area they have often spliced the cable outside and lost that earth path whilst they converted to Tnc-s

That's what I was intimating, Des. It is the easiest and cheapest way, after all. But, why no label TNC-S or PME?
edit.....and least safe.
