Discuss Now which cable for this farm job? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

they're floodlights, so should be easy to run cables out of reach of trigger & friends.

Farm installs Are a nightmare with extraneous conductive parts all over the place( farmers putting in steel stations for gates ,pen separators ) olden days it was sleepers
You should see section 705 in BGB and note reg 705.411.1 / 705.422.7 and 705.422.8

Generally we always use ip 55 db units, that are modular for splitting up circuits ( for s type rcds and rcds as they are required to be DP). Mk master seal sockets and swa and fp200. These keep everything nice and dry, as roofs ect get damaged/blown off and not repaired for some time or at all ( in my experience ).
But then we are lucky farmers we work for will spend the cash
