Parish Council funding

We have a parish council looking to put renewables on their building. Anyone know of any funding schemes or grants they could apply for?

I have already spoken to Carbon Trust who only have the Siemans loans and DECC put me onto the energy advice line who only had community funding for domestic to cover insulation.

Don't want to wait for Green Deal and don't think it will help them in any case for renewables if it gets off the ground.

The Carbon Trust are only offering the Siemans loans, but I was looking to see whether there were any grants/interest free loans that could be tapped into.

Yes, a good old-fashioned fund-raising event really does bring the community together. Maybe a bonfire or my wife's favourite is a barn dance.

The church I am dealing with has grants promised from EDF and National Lottery I believe.

@BruceB, If the church gets funding from the National Lottery, willit qualify for FiTs?

They think so and so do I. I do not think it counts as a Government grant using public funds ...... unless you know better?
