Got one of these coming up soon.

Customer has to have one done every 5 years for insurance purposes being a thatched roof.

Just wondering where I would find any regs relating to this type of property ?

And anything I should look out for/advice welcome?

Did some work in a thatched property years ago whilst on the books, and sure everything in the loft had to be in copex? Also there had to be a smoke up there (but wouldnt that be building regs)

Cheers Sy:)

Theres quite a few round my way and some insurance companies are insisting on enclosed lighting systems in the loft spaces (or FP200) and as you say a smoke in the loft

OK thanksyou for your reply Andy....:)

Doesnt look like so many people have done one of these then, no probs will keep investigating got a while yet.

And let you know what I find out,

Sy
