Has anyone got (or know where to get) a pyro crimp tool (20mm pots)?

Preferably cheap as it isn't something I expect to use often but I need one by the weekend ;)

Ta.

I hope your trained and proficient in MICC its will be a nightmare if your not... as im led to believe they no longer include it in the college courses they just show pictures!

Did you try ebay and gumtree or is it a new one you're looking for?

I did notice one on ebay. Screwdriver type for £15 I think which is an option.

Trained? Of course, I've watched the video on youtube, how hard can it be.....
Actually, no...... I fully expect it to be a nightmare.... :(

Trouble is I wouldn't normally touch the stuff but I have a consumer unit change which has pyro on one circuit that needs re-terminating. I'd rather a bit of hassle and learn than turn down the job.
Luckily I have just stripped loads of the stuff out of a building so I have plenty to practice on. I've already made sure I am happy stripping it with a combination of an adjustable pipe cutter and side cutters (fiddly but do-able with care) but I am not confident of potting it properly without the crimp tool.

I might just have a spare one (hand turned one & screw driver turned one) knocking about will check in the morning, where are you located?
Or buy from here ZDC20 MICC Hand CrimperNut Job

I'm in Fleet, Hampshire, not so far from you?

I've just spotted that Neweys appear to do them for £25+vat so they are probably my best option if I end up getting one new.
