Hi all, gone to look at a job today and would like a bit of advice. The job is to get power out to 2 sheds from a garage CU. The CU in the garage has a 32mA RCD and 6amp and 16 amp Mcb. The power in the garage is run on a radial circuit, so I was wondering if I could carry on the radial circuit up to the sheds, which is around a 20m distance. So what Im really asking is what is the max length of a radial circuit on a 2.5mm cable?

depends on the load. do your calculations inc. volt drop.

with lighting in the sheds , around 22-25mtr for 2.5mm on a 20a mcb.
but thats total length inc. distance from house CU to garage CU.
