Discuss resitance of 6mm t&e per meter. in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net
Hi,
If its 6mm line conductor and 4mm cpc then resistance would be 7.69 milli ohms per metre.
If its wrong, please let me know as I just checked on G3 page 104
Regards,Sav
He was asking about T+E.....
Okay Ben Is this better?
1 metre of 6mm =
(1.7 × 10-8) x 1, divided by (6 x 10-6)
or (1.7 × 10-2) divided by 6
= 0.0028 W
or 2.8 mW
+
1 metre of 4mm
(1.7 × 10-8) x 1, divided by (4 x 10-6)
or (1.7 × 10-2) divided by 4
= 0.00425 W
or 4.25 mW
Total = 2.8 + 4.25
= 7.05 mW
