We are back onto the same old roundabout Tony. If the op to a thread is a diyer, then advising to leave well alone might have the desired effect. But the same advice to someone short course trained who is not up to scratch will simply encourage them to leave the forum. In effect more danger, not less will be caused no matter that is was done with good intentions. If the 'dont touch it' advice was more considered I could understand it, but for some it is just a bit of sport to trash the Electrical Trainee.
