Hi All

I'm a professional mobile app developer. Around 12-13 years ago I created a couple of apps for the fire protection / safety industry that a few people found useful. I put those to one side as I found myself switching careers to be a full time developer and skilling up required the whole of my focus.

Now I find myself in the position of having a large amount of experience that I'd like to start putting to good use again so consider this if you will an attempt to get some free market research :)

With that in mind my question is.. What does the current app landscape look like for you guys as professional electricians? Both Android and IOS.
  • Is it already well served or is there something that you wish existed?
  • Something that already exists but you find frustrating to use for some reason?

Thanks for any input you may want to provide!

A decent resource really providing technical information in a logical and accurate manner

Constantly having to use google everytime there's a problem or something unknown

1 long stretch but as you asked- Removal of the schemes, replaced with a centralized government/member owned managed system, that liaises with all local authorities to register EIC EICR and part p certificates all together, but in an app accessibility to those members.

2 an app that allows you to register bad/non paying customers - this one is a serious request.
