i got a call this morning and there sending me another one out.

To be fair to them Shanky, 887614 is an unusual sir name.

As others have said I give my postcode (eg NE14 ABJ)and my surname and my details come up on the screen

I've been reading this, confused, wondering exactly what this "post code" thingy that everyone has been talking about actually was. I've been thinking, why can't someone give us an example of this fabled thing.

A lot of companies and institutions use Post Codes to bring up repeat customers' details.
How else will they know to send out a catalogue?
