Hello all.

I have been asked to look at supplying a server cabinet, with ups.

The ups needs two separate supplies, and will automatically switch between the two incase of a fault etc.

Does anyone know if these two supplies can be on different phases? I would rather keep them separate incase of a fault with one of the phases, taking the whole server off supply.

EH? seriously no need for 2 phases, the idea of ups is it is basically a battery back up in case of a power cut, I would never have 2 phases inside a data hub which includes switches and a server.
