Hello, I hope you're all keeping well. I'd like to replace the electrical cable which runs overhead for three metres between my two sheds, what type of cable should I use?

without any more info from the OP, then I'm with @bigspark17 post #3.

I’m wondering whether the existing cable has deteriorated because of UV, whether it’s been driven into, or perhaps the missus keeps on using it as a clothes line?

or perhaps the missus keeps on using it as a clothes line?

If you use bell wired then this will help with the drying of the clothes...

Why do you want to replace the cable?
Well, someone used a length of 2.5mm twin core and earth cable in a hosepipe buried 2 inches below ground and yesterday my wife thinking it was a tree root cut through it with a pair of loppers.
