New Zealand side entry element into immersion tank

can anybody tell me if theirs a standard size for a domestic immersion tank element ( side entry )

I have only ever fitted elements that go into the top

11" will fit but it might be 14" if it is a large tank. The size may affect the heat distribution, normally easiest to see what is already installed and match that.

4 bolt/6 bolt etc.
Side entry is called a circulator and has a plastic riser pipe to give quick warm up at the top of the tank.
