i have a 2 core and earth cable going to my single switch it has l1 l2 and c on the back i can wire the 2 core into the l1 and c but there is no where for the earth as it is in a plastic pattress box instead of a metal back box so no where for the earth to be clamped however i noticed the sheething is overshot on the earth making me think it was never wired in in the first place is this safe

Sleeve it and put it in a wago mate unless you're putting a metal switch plate in. In that case there'll be a terminal on the plate for the CPC

£100 for an inhaler??? does that come with a line of coke?

a diyer dabling in electrics, at least he will meet his dad up there

well he is a roofer after all

Actually no, I am a roofer yes, correct, and probably better at my job than I can say for most, I'm not a diy'er
i live in a council property and has had a complete rewire by "professionals"
and I'm painting and removed the screws just to cut in behind and noticed the loose earth just checking that this wasn't a fault actually
