HI solar folk and sparks:
i have a residential ground mount solar PV installation to do;
Any one with previous experience on this?
The question pertains specifically to mount the inverter.
- I am hesitant to mount the inverter externally without being in an enclosure, even though IP65 or IP66 depending on the make. Am I being paranoid?

- from a security and safety perspective, would prefer it in an enclosure anyway, any recommendations on off the shelf enclosures / pedestals at a reasonable price? keeping in mind they state well ventilated place, and min 150mm top and sides, and 200mm bottom. There is a shed about 3m away, in this instance, which may be the best option, but what if there was nothing convenient?

- if not, how have you mounted the inverters? It's a 60m run back to the house, want the inverter next to the PV arrays obviosly.
I would appreciate feedback / recommendations please.
Speak of solar, when will the bloody sun be back! It's gone walkabouts.
thx
