Discuss Stand alone RCD's in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

The Denman ones have a moulded in plastic din rail, if you are going to have to fight to get the tails in then it may snap, if you are using it for a single RCBO then you should be OK.
There is no bus bar or earth neutral terminals in the enclosure.
pretty photograph for you:

Thanks as usual Richard :)

Denmans (all about electrics.co.uk) also do an extra height one (for 1.79) that can be useful for RCBOs or just extra wiring space.

Just like to end the thread properly with a bit of feedback.

Found a place local to me which sold the same ones Richard. :) Thanks again..

I just need to find someone who wants some more sockets and doesn't have RCD protection!!!

Always good to have pictures:

i feel sorry for stand alone rcd's.

no mates to go for a pint with ,
microwave meals for 1 ,
no-one to banter with at work ,

you should at least get him a few jazz mags to pass the time with.

;-)
