Hi, this is my 1st post on the forum, i'm run a small electrical firm in London. Thankfully things are going good.
Any way i've got a couple of big jobs to tender for. I have no problem quoting or doing the job, but i'm not to familiar with the tender process and completing the speed sheets.
I was wondering what some of you do and do any of you guys use a electrical quantity surveyor?
I though that might be easier and at least all the paperwork would be done professionally and correctly.
Any advise would be much appreciated.
cheers
David.

Welcome to the forum David. I've moved this thread to the 'business' part of the forum for you where it might get noticed a bit better.

Hi GesLondon

have been working on some tenders lately for some bigger projects (not massive) they should issue with an invitation & this should include most of what you need.
I have just used an independent firm on a project M/E Consultants, they weren't cheap but ball park figure was within 5K on ÂŁ550,000.00 job so I thought it was worth it.
Spreadsheet they sent contained summary, breakdown of Labour & materials & minutes to complete each section.
adjustable for me to alter as I saw fit.

good luck
