Hi I'm new to the site this is my first post. I currently in the 3rd year of my apprentiship. I've been asked to do a job for a friend, he wants 2x double socket outlets installing in the back garden. I'll be putting them on a 4mm radial using swa cable on a 20a breaker and obviously ip rated sockets supplied from the house db from a spare way on the rcd side. My question is...after the installation do I need to test the whole installation or just the new circuit???

Thanks in advance.

I was gonna test the circuit I installed and also make sure the boning was the right size and was continuous. Do I need to do a zs on all other circuits??

In seriousness you are there mate. You have the correct answer. The only need to test the circuit you are installing. It has to fully comply so all bonding will also need to be in place before you can sign off. Also as Murdoch said this job will be notifiable.
