Hi all,

I am going to be doing my second attempt at the 302 assessment and I am wondering if anyone can send some tips on time saving.

Although my first attempt was done with while recovering from a broken hand I feel as though time got the better of me in the end. On my exam results sheet I got a credit for planning and preparation but a ''refer'' for my practical activities.
Now I still have not had any feedback from my tutor to clarify where I went wrong but I do feel that with all the writing ( filling in the test sheets as well the additional paperwork ) I ran out of time.
So if anyone has some time saving tips they can recommend it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

The only thing I can recommend is to keep practicing the work you need to do so that you can perform the tasks and the completion of the paperwork without needing to wonder if something is correct or not, you will know automatically and can then proceed with a greater speed.
Sorry if it is not much help, but since you already know what you need to do you can practice this until it is second nature.

Good luck, you will find it easier second time around.

It's really nice to see that you are going on a proper route to become an electrician. I only suggest to have a time management and a proper preparation. It's the best way to save your time.

Hi RJY, as Richard Burns said, its just practice until it becomes second nature to you. Just make sure that you fill in the paperowrk correctly and dont leave any blank spaces. Just keep calm. Best of luck
