Hi all,
I read through the post that dealt with using 12V LED bulbs in place of incandescent bulbs but my issue is a little different from that thread.

I will be checking out a ceiling fan that has 4 lights on it. The owner said he replaced all 4 incandescent 120VAC bulbs that were working with 120VAC LED bulbs. The thing is, none of the LED lights light up unless one of them is replaced with an incandescent bulb and then all 3 LED and incandescent lights work.
The owner said the screw shells between the LED and incandescent light bulbs are identical. I wouldn't think I need to worry about an electronic transformer in this case but I'll verify that once I get to the location.
Can anyone think of a reason why this happens? I'd like to be prepared once I get to the place.

Thank you in advance!

Quite often those fans have a remote control with a dimming function for the lights so there will be electronics involved. If it’s a few years old then it might just not be designed to work with led lamps? Sometimes another brand of led lamp might work where one doesn’t.

Thank you for your insight on this. That is definitely something to be aware of.
