Hi

Just wondering what paperwork you all issue when replacing a consumer unit, I've been issuing an EIC and a schedule of test results I normally print them of IET website but I was just looking through their amended forms and was wondering if I should also be completing a schedule of inspections form, it does say for new installations only but is a new CU classed as a new installation for this form, obviously there are some questions on the form you can't answer such as correct routing of cables for all circuits etc.

Cheers

On a normal domestic CU change I usually have one SoI, one SoTR and 2 pages of EIC, that's four sheets in total, this is the minimum number of sheets required, I too use the IET ones.

Remember you are supposed to inspect before you test.
