hope it's ok to sidetrack a little, we are fitting 4pole contactors on boards at present so staff can have an easy mode of switching off at end of shift. There are lots of gaming machines connected to the circuits most of which have inbuilt computers (I believe) do you think I should connect...- havo one

im just revising this.... if i want 130A per phase and work that out per phase (IxV/1000) = 30kva x 3 that would mean i ask for 90kva total supply. but if i work it out at 390A total and work that out over 3 phases (square root3 x I x vL-L/1000) i get 269kva so i ask for 90kva per phase...- havo one

the heating/air con units are the only source of heat for the building and yes ive just taken the plate ratings some of which are old and have a high rating of 21kw each . we have measured the current and at present am pulling 65/70 amps per phase. however i expect that to increase to aprox...- havo one

Distribution circuit tt system
on a TT system today I had meter tails backed up by domestic 100A 88-3 fuse directly into fusebord, no main switch or RCD on tails which is very common in N.I, am I right to consider this as a distribution circuit? my thoughts are that the fuse doesn't provide proper disconnection time and would...- havo one

hi guys 1st post, judging by the fact theres old wylex fuses & old voltage trip then id imagine theres no main equipotential bonding. if theres no main equipotntial bonding then there would need to be supplementary bonding connecting circuit cpcs of the location to any exposed extraneous...- havo one
