    Ok i'm jumping in here to save starting another thread, i've just done a EICR and the ring main has no CPC continuity, Live and neutral are fine equal readings to both assuming a broken cpc within a socket personally, ive checked polarity at all sockets which is fine. im thinking this is a C2...

    Pricing up a job in a factory and have to wire in a 3 phase supply, just going to double check my cable sizing i calculate i need to use a 10m cable Swa cable clipped direct on its own , 35m run feeding a unit needing a 3 phase 20amp supply am i right ? just seems a little on the heavy side ?

    Ive changed the set up now with a main switch new busbar and 4 rccbos and then the 30ma rcd for the remaining curcuits just the one curcuit not tripping the rcds now

    Big firm our way just do this all day long , man and mate 2 first fixes a day thats what your up against they get a set amount of kit if they go over it its out thier price , but good luck to you !

    just a quick update on this ,Been back today changed the bus bar and fitted 4 seprate rccbos got 3 out 4 curcuits passing the rcd and other relevent tests now just 1 ring to go now that trip for love nor money but ever other test is fine !

    Good tea making skills :) , But mainly keen to learn, phone kept in pocket not constanly tapping away , there will be fetching and carring , but mainly just be willing to learn, experince will come with a good teacher everones got to start knowing nothing . Good luck
