    thank you for your comment Lucien Nunes, it was actually the extension lead i used for my domestic sewing machine and domestic overlocking machine (also sewing related machine for those that do not know), i have now disposed of the extension lead.

    hi all, just used my extension lead, it was ok before i used it just to vacuum, the extension lead was fully unwound but its not very long anyway, the hover is only about 4 months old, so i can not really see that having anything to do with it, could be wrong though, extension lead was fitted...

    No heaters,boilers, I will contact the contractors on Monday again to try and sort this out, they made the report then they can answer these questions, of course I will post their answers unless I am told again they will call me back massage this never happens, don't hold your breath.

    Totally agree the council is the customer, originally council electricians done the inspection reports, these electricians got the reports wrong and refuse to hand over their reports to the contractors now, as their was illegal things suggested like putting a plug socket in actually In my work...

    Yes it is council property, all the houses except 4 are council, they are approx 35 years old and the council is having them all rewired, I have asked neighbours if the have an inspection report like I have and no one seems to have got one only me.
