sizing the switch on consumer unit
Just a quick one. When adding up all the MCBs in the consumer unit and applying diversity I work out the design current as 101.5A. This is not a large house. A 10.2kW electric oven, 7.2kWshower, 3kW boiler, ring final circuit, 2 x lighting circuit etc. If it were at the design stage I take it... -

Wondered if anyone can help ? If i was running in a sub-main for an extra c.u how would i calculate the size of cable. Sizing Cooker fuse / diversity...confused
Replacing cooker 32A mcb. New is rated at 9kw = 39.1 Amps. Been reading through other posts and some say I can use existing fuse because of allowing for diversity.
