Without running new wire or at least ground, next best is GFCI receptacles for limited protection. I know about a bootleg ground to fool a tester. I am not going there! Does each receptacle need a costly GFCI or can standard receptacles be used down stream on the load side of the first GFCI and still get the same limited protection. I will use the stickers "No Equipment Ground" for future users and or home inspectors. I just need 3 prong plugs.
