At any point on a 3phase motor and its supply should u get continuity across any of the phases at any point, just to settle an argument cheers

you will get continuity across all terminals as the phases are all connected to each other, star or delta. only when you remove the links in the terminal block will you be able to read each phase individually.

yes where you will get continuity across the three (or maybe six) sets of windings depending on the motor......

So all 3 phase come from the same place star/delta so this will cause continuity is this correct
