Another new guy poking around

Hello, thought I would join since I’ve poked around here time to time for projects but finally couldn’t find an answer this time. I have a fairly decent automotive background and I’m certified in automotive electrical. My dad was an electrical engineer back in the day and I’ve managed to cobble together a decent knowledge of residential electrical with a small dabbling into some industrial. Cant wait to keep learning now that I’m getting to bigger and better projects.

Do they still burn electricians at the stake in GA?

I couldn’t tell you for sure but it wouldn’t shock me! It’s a f******** pain to get anything fixed around here! Needless to say I gave up using the home warranty and my wife’s car is currently being sold in favor of a suburban I know inside and out

Edit: I’ll add that I’m Air Force so I just moved here last year. I’m originally from Ohio and will happily be returning come the end of my enlistment.
