Hi folks, my name is James.

I have used this site to find answers in the past. This time I decided to join.

Although Part P qualified I am faily inexperienced and become unstuck somwtimes when testing. Therefore I will probably ask a few silly questions if I cant find the answers in my books. Be gentle!..

Thanks.

As above there is no stupid question so ask away BUT please never say that your part P qualified, its not a qualification and the subject can get on a lot of members nerves lol.

:welcome: to the forum.

Good evening everyone,

its nice to see somebodys out there.

Here is a question for you.

I have just tested my my mums 3 lighting circuits. The polarity and IR is fine but the continuity results are coming back at around 13.5ohms. I think this is high and would have expected to see a result of around 1 ohm?

Are these figures high? any ideas why?

Ok my last post wasn't that helpful towards your question.

What readings did you get L - N, L - CPC? and we will take it from there.

Big fan of yours Paul but i think you are being picky, but i have had a few:54:

Yes that was a bit picky but I'm trying to use the correct terminology and get myself out of the bad habits I've picked up.

Your a fan of mine pmsl  You've just made my day :):):)

Are you drunk again?
